Cornballer Bad Hands Play of the Week

In an unexpected turn of events, Florida became not only a slightly adequate football team yesterday, but a pretty good one.

Anyone who thought the Gators would hand it to Georgia to the tune of 38-20 is hopelessly optimistic or from the future.

I doubt even Florida AD Jeremy Foley saw it coming; he probably had Will Muschamp's resignation in his back pocket.

Nevertheless, the Gators spun the clock back a few years to the Urban Meyer days and put a good old fashioned beatdown on Georgia, running for well over 400 yards while attempting only six passes the entire game.

And for Georgia, bad just became worse.

I'd like to point out that another Georgia defender had a perfect chance to make a play at midfield, he just failed to make the tackle.

This play pretty much sums up how the day went for the Bulldogs defense. No one could put either of Florida's running backs on the ground, and when they had a chance to, the refs were suckered into serving as blockers.

Yesterday was just a bad day in general for Georgia.
